Groups
Instead of having everyone look up the same stocks and discuss the stock as one big group, we elected to break the fund into 4 smaller groups with each group controlling $25,000. The groups will be responsible for finding a stock, researching the stock, discussing the stock within the group and determining whether or not to buy the stock. The group will also be responsible for determining when to sell the stock. The overall policies of the SMIF must be followed when selecting investments. The individual group's performance will be measured at the end of every month. Management of risk is priority number one.
